The Beginning of the End
From the moment World War II began, minority groups were Hitler's target, as he wanted all people who did not agree with him dead. He blamed the minorities in Germany for all of the bad things that were happening in the country, especially the way that Germany's economy was heading. Because Hitler was at such odds with minorities in Europe, he decided to capture them and find many different ways of killing them, which we will examine more closely. The most well-known way that these prisoners were killed was by means of gas, in which in only an hour or so, hundreds of people could be dead. It was by far the most destructive, but yet most efficient way of killing Jews and other minorities across Europe. Another popular means of killing minorites was having them partake in medical experiments. Many times, these experiments would go wrong and these poor people who had been captured would end up dying from the experiments of the doctors. Lastly, Jews were sent to extermination camps where they could die in a variwty of ways, from mass shootings to being used in medical experiments. Let's now take a closer look at all the methods of extermination in more detail.
